Aliyana Reshamwalla is paying it forward big time. The Ajax girl, who celebrates her fifth birthday Saturday, is holding a clothing and food drive on her big day in Oshawa's North End Bowl. On her fourth birthday last year, Aliyana donated all of the toys she received to the Hospital for Sick Children Article by SHARON LEM, Toronto Sun  August 20, 2010   My Name is Aliyana Reshamwalla, and I’m giving back! I was born with gastroesophageal reflux disease. The chronic symptoms of the disease include damage to mucous tissues caused by stomach reflux. At five-months-old, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, and stopped breathing while sleeping. At one-year-old, doctors at Sick Kids discovered that I was suffering from autoimmune neutropenia, a blood disease which shut down my immune system. When I was two-years-old in September, 2007, I was in a car accident where I injured my hip and suffered internal bleeding. Because my hip didn't heal right, I caught flesh-eating disease. In March 2008, I was diagnosed with a disease in which her veins and lymphatic system joined together. I received wonderful care and support from so many people.  Friends, family, the “Angels” at Sick Kids Hospital, and many more.   NOW, I’m giving back, and I’m looking for your help! I’m 6 years old and I only weigh 34 pounds, but every one of those pounds wants to help other kids get through some of their problems.
